Our mission is to plan, develop, operate, and maintain a parks-and-recreation system that enriches the overall quality of life for our residents and visitors alike, and to preserve it for future generations.
The City of Manteca Parks and Recreation Department serves thousands of individuals, including toddlers, youth, teens, and adults throughout the greater Manteca area. We strive to offer programs and services that foster health, wellness, and human development, strengthen families, and provide recreational opportunities for the purpose of positively affecting the quality of life for all involved.
The Department oversees more than 600 acres of neighborhood and community parks, maintenance districts, urban forest, the Tidewater Bikeway, skate park, swimming pool, senior center, library services, and our 18-hole golf course.
