The digital toolkit and reopening guidelines and checklists below will give business owners what they need to reopen as State Orders change. You will find a comprehensive checklist of items to both think about and prepare for your business.  Included are signage for both staff and community members for walls or front doors.  Also included are guidelines and recommendations from the CDC and State for protecting the health of your staff and customers through cleaning guidelines.  This is a living list and new items will be added​ as they become available from the CDC, State and other resources.  To apply for a physical toolkit, click here​.  (Documentos en Español abajo​).

  • SACRAMENTO – As the federal government fails to provide additional financial stimulus support to main street businesses, Governor Gavin Newsom today announced that California will provide temporary tax relief for eligible businesses impacted by COVID-19 restrictions. Additional $12.5 million added to the California Rebuilding Fund launched last week​.

  • Effective July 13, 2020, ALL counties must close indoor operations in these sectors:

    • Dine-in restaurants
    • Wineries and tasting rooms
    • Movie theaters 
    • Family entertainment centers (for example: bowling alleys, miniature golf, batting cages and arcades)
    • Zoos and museums
    • Cardrooms
