Join your City Officials in Proclaiming October 23, 2019 "A Day Without Water".
Can you imagine a 24 hour period without water for any of your day to day activities?
Join us in the day without water challenge and learn about protecting the local environment and water projects currently underway. To join this challenge, simply pledge to use water considerately. We will attempt to go a full day without water or at least using water conservatively.
To easily track your daily water use, we've provided this
Day without Water Log.pdf at the end of the day you can report all water usage using the participation link above. This will give you an estimate of your gallons per day use.
October 23, 2019
Imagine:
No water to drink, or even to make coffee with. No water to shower, flush the toilet, or do laundry. Hospitals would close without water. Firefighters couldn't put out fires and farmers couldn't water their crops.
Some communities in America already know how impossible it is to try to go a day without our most precious resource: Water. But many Americans take water for granted every day. Imagine a Day Without Water 2019 is the fifth annual day to raise awareness and educate America about the value of water.
Last year, over 1,000 organizations came together. Will you join us in 2019?
350 people Pledged to Join us as of 10/15/2019
will you be one of them?
By completing your registration, you are pledging to conserve water on 10/23/19 as part of the
National Imagine a Day without water campaign.
We will then publish the information for this year.
