New Scheduling Program for Manteca Transit Dial-A-Ride
Manteca Transit is excited to announce that we will be using a computer assisted scheduling system, effective February 23, 2018. The new system will schedule multiple trips based on actual travel times and distances to allow us to serve more passengers within the City of Manteca.

By changing to this more standard type of dispatching system, it will allow more people, more opportunities to schedule rides on the Manteca Transit Dial-a-Ride system. Rather than being offered a specific time slot in 15 minute increments, we will be asking you either;
  • “What time would you like to be dropped off?” or
  • “What time would you like to be picked up?”
The dispatch system will offer you a customized 30-minute pick-up window or it will offer you a 30-minute pick-up window after your pick-up time. This new system will also make it easier for us to find opportunities to adjust those trips that change throughout the day.

We understand that this will be a change for all of us, but we anticipate it will help provide a better service all passengers. We appreciate your patience during this transition. If you have any questions, or would like additional information, please contact Manteca Transit at (209) 456-8888.
