​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Information Technology Department is responsible for ensuring that the City’s technology resources are effectively managed and used to their fullest potential to improve productivity, customer service and public access to City information. The division works with all City departments to provide support for their technology initiatives and automate processes and services where appropriate. 

Goals:

  • Provide a reliable networking experience to City computer users
  • Improve City communications systems
  • Investigate and deploy new technologies
  • Improve mobile computing environment
  • Work with other agencies to establish regional data sharing
  • Offer visitors to the City website an improved experience
