Emergency Water Repairs

The City of Manteca Water Division responds to water repair emergencies 24/7.

The images below were taken in January of 2009, when a water leak was found in Library Park.

City crews removed a section of concrete where water was coming up through the ground.
Water crews probed the site and found the exact location of the leaking water main.

Mud, water, and debris were vacuumed away from the repair site using a "Vac-Con" machine.

The area around the leak was then excavated and the damaged pipe exposed for repair.

City crews removed the failed section of pipe and performed the repair.
