Frequently Asked Questions
Parking Citations

Parking Tickets
The City of Manteca has outsourced the management of its parking citations to a Citation Processing Center. The Citation Processing Center has numerous agreements with California cities and other public agencies to provide parking citation processing services.

Information on how to pay the parking penalty is located on the back of your parking citation. You must pay the parking penalty within twenty-one (21) days from the date the citation was issued. Failure to pay the penalties will result in additional penalties being added and the possible withholding of your vehicle registration by the Department of Motor Vehicles CVC 4760.

PAYMENTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AT THE MANTECA POLICE DEPARTMENT. YOU MAY DROP OFF YOUR PAYMENT IN THE PAYMENT DROP OFF BOX IN THE OUTER LOBBY OF THE MANTECA POLICE DEPARTMENT.

To pay the penalty, please use the self addressed envelope provided with the parking citation. The penalty will be forfeited and no further proceedings may be held. DO NOT MAIL CASH. Please mail a check or money order to:

CITATION PROCESSING CENTER
PO BOX 2730
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA 92647-2730

Phone: 1-800-989-2058

Please write the citation number on the check or money order. Make it payable to the CITY OF MANTECA. Please enclose the payment in the envelope. The citation also serves as an envelope.

Your penalty can also be paid online a http://www.ticketwizard5000.com
If you are unable to locate your citation on the Online Parking Ticket payment site it may not have been downloaded to the site. If you just received your citation, you will not be able to pay online until the citation is downloaded to the site. This may take up to fourteen (14) days after your citation has been issued.

In order to avoid accruing late fees, it is recommended that you send in your payment with the citation.

Payments may be made by mail. Remit payment to the agency listed on the Original Parking Citation or on the Notice of Illegal Parking. Pay by Check or Money Order only, do not send cash.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and will work towards getting this process streamlined. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

If you wish you to check if any late fees have accrued on your parking penalty you must contact the Citation Processing Center at 1-800-989-2058, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. excluding holidays.

If you believe that the parking citation was issued in error you may contest the citation. You have twenty-one (21) days from the date the citation was issued. Failure to contest the citation in the required time frame will result in you losing all rights to further contest the citation. You may mail or submit your contest online. Your contest must be mailed to the address listed above. Questions should be directed to the Manteca Police Department Records Division at 209-825-2565.
