A 10,000-plus square-foot, multi-purpose Senior Center serving and involving adults and seniors age 50 and above throughout the greater Manteca area. There are no membership fees to participate at the center; however, some classes and activities have nominal fees.


Program days and times are subject to change; please call the Center to confirm.

Some programs require advance registration; check with the Senior Center prior to attending.

There is a $1.00 administration fee and a $5.00 annual membership fee to use the Fitness Center.

Prior to use, you must complete a short safety orientation; call the Senior Center to schedule an appointment.

Spaghetti Dinner and Bingo
Third Monday of Every Month (see Activity Guide for dates)

Doors open at 5:00 pm; Dinner at 5:30 pm
$8.00 per person for dinner -- pre-sale only (limited to 175 people). No tickets will be sold at the door.

Sign up at the front desk no later than the Friday prior to the event.

Menu includes spaghetti, garlic bread, salad, dessert and beverage. Bingo packs are $5.00 each.

Saturday Senior Breakfasts  (Age 50+)

Potluck Dinner and Bingo
Third Thursday of Every Month at 5:00 pm
Please bring a dish to share (enough to feed 8 to 10 people). Don't forget your plate and flatware. Potluck is open to people 50 yrs and better. Dessert is provided.

Monthly Birthday Party
First Monday of Every Month, 1:00 pm

This is a free event. Join us for games and cake! Come and celebrate, even if it isn't your birthday!


Coffee with the Staff
Second Wednesday of Every Month, 8:30-9:30 am

This is a free event. You are invited to have coffee with City staff. This event gives seniors the opportunity to ask questions and have general conversation with City staff.


Monday-Wednesday-Friday, starting at 9:45 am sharp!

Meet new friends and enjoy 10 games of Bingo at $0.50 per card. We look forward to seeing you there.

Friday Night Bingo
First Friday of Every Month

Doors open at 5:00 pm; Bingo at 6:00 pm

$10.00 per person. Ticket includes entry and one pack of bingo cards. Additional bingo packs and food items will be available for purchase. Open to ages 18 and older.


Senior Brown Bag Program

First and Third Tuesday of Every Month, 9:30-11:00 am

The Senior Center and Second Harvest Food Bank offer seniors supplemental groceries, including fruits, vegetables, and basic grocery staples (no dairy products). This program is for those ages 60 and above. Food distributions will take place on the first and third Tuesdays of the month. You must PRE-REGISTER to participate and may do so by attending one of the Brown Bag scheduled days. There is an annual $12.00 suggested donation fee, payable when you register. You will receive an I.D. card, which you need to bring in with you each time you come in for food. Please bring your own large bags. For more information, call the Senior Center.


Social Networking and Basic Computer Class

First Tuesday of Every Month, 10:00 am

Bring your own iPad, laptop, Kindle, or other mobile device. There is no charge to attend.


Homeowner and Renter Assistance
Seniors, the disabled and the blind are eligible for homeowner and rental assistance under a State program.  The program is available for people who have a household annual income less than $44,096 and are blind, disabled or are 62 or older.  Individuals should bring proof of age and a copy of the 1099 Social Security Benefit Statement.  For more information, call Helen Hixon at 823-3747 and she will help you fill this out.


Thursdays, 9:00 am-12:00 noon

Information about health insurance policies and benefits. Counseling services are provided by Counselors registered by the California Department of Aging. Available by appointment on Thursdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon. Call 456-8650 for an appointment.


Hearing-Aid Services
Second Tuesday of Every Month, 11:00 am-12:00 noon

Provided by Wesson Hearing Center.


Notary Service
Second Tuesday of Every Month, 10:00 am to 12:00 noon

Call 456-8650 to schedule an appointment.


Paralegal Service
Second and fourth Tuesdays of Every Month, 9:00 am-12:00 noon

Provided by the Council for the Spanish-Speaking; however, you do not need to be Spanish-speaking to take advantage of this service. It is for Seniors 60 and older. Call for appointment at 456-8650.


Senior Peer Counseling
Thursdays, 10:00-11:30 am

 Free to those residing in San Joaquin County. Counseling is available for aging problems, grief, loneliness, depression, etc.  For additional information or appointment, call Donna Combs at (209) 953-5552. You must call prior to attending.


The Senior Center is home to more than 180 volunteers, who donate over 18,000 hours annually in service to seniors!  Many volunteer opportunities exist at the Center, such as Nutrition, Facility Supervisor, Trips & Tours, Programs, and Service Desk.  Please call 456-8650 if you are interested in volunteering.

The Senior Advisory Committee meets at the Senior Center on the first Monday of every month at 12:00 noon, except for holidays.  All seniors are welcome to attend and voice opinions and concerns.  Let us hear your voice.
