Community Development Department

The Community Development Department promotes balanced and creative land use planning, building safety, affordable housing, redevelopment programs, structuring public/private real estate joint ventures, economic development and smart growth by maintaining a strong business climate throughout the city, fostering a healthy and sustainable economy, and planning responsibly based on the community needs of the City of Manteca.

The department is comprised of the Building Safety Division, Planning Division, and Redevelopment Agency. Each division plays a crucial role in helping provide the services needed and conduct activities which help guide the City’s orderly development.

HOURS OF OPERATION
Commencing March 1, 2009
Monday-Thursday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
(Closed March 13 and every alternating Friday thereafter)
