We want to hear from you!
The City is conducting a Community Satisfaction Survey in an effort to gauge how the City is doing in meeting the needs and expectations of our residents. Used as both a quality of life and performance measurement tool, responses will provide City Council with guidance on how to make sound strategic and budget decisions that best serve your needs. Sidewalk Café Dining Permits Now Available
On September 18, 2018 the Manteca City Council approved Ordinance O2018-27, which Amended Title 12 of the Manteca Municipal Code, to allow for “Revocable Encroachment Permits”. Under section 12.04.270 of the Manteca Municipal Code, businesses will now be able to apply for a Sidewalk Café Revocable Permit with the Community Development Department beginning October 18th, 2018. We believe this new ordinance has the potential to help increasing foot traffic in both our downtown area and for our eating and drinking establishments. We strongly encourage businesses to explore this new opportunity.
