HOT TOPIC - THE NEW MANTECA TRAFFIC CALMING PROGRAM (MTCP) IS AVAILABLE!

Traffic Calming is “The combination of mainly physical measures that reduce the negative effects of motor vehicle use, alter driver behavior and improve conditions for non-motorized street users.” Institute of Traffic Engineer (ITE), 1997. The Public Works Department addresses traffic concerns through the Traffic Calming methods in a variety of ways. Secure your place in Manteca history!
The City is looking for Manteca residents to help us design a new logo to increase brand recognition and more fully represent the forward thinking organization the City has become. The contest will run from October 5, 2018 to December 31, 2018 and the winner receives $500, an engraved version of the logo design, and recognition at a City Council meeting and on City media channels. The City is conducting a Community Satisfaction Survey in an effort to gauge how the City is doing in meeting the needs and expectations of our residents. Used as both a quality of life and performance measurement tool, responses will provide City Council with guidance on how to make sound strategic and budget decisions that best serve your needs. Travel for lunch at Sweet Tomatoes in Pleasanton and then to see The Clairvoyants at the Livermore Performing Arts Center for their 3 pm performance. The Clairvoyants, (Thommy Ten and Amelie Van Tass), fascinate, astonish, and thrill their audiences with their mind-reading and mind-blowing onstage magic! Cost per person: $75.00

May 12, 2019 - Simply Sinatra
Take mom out for Mother's Day! Travel to see Simply Sinatra for a 2:30 pm performance at the Warren Atherton Auditorium (Delta College Campus) on Sunday, May 12, 2019. Hosted dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Stockton follows the performance. Cost per person: $75.00

June 21-29, 2019 - The Colorado Rockies
9 days, 12 meals (8 breakfasts, 4 dinners).
